Acclaimed Golf Instructor John Novosel to Use SmartSwing Golf's Innovative Technology
Austin, Texas, April 26, 2005
SmartSwing, Inc., an Austin-based golf technology company, announced today that the highly regarded golf instructor and tempo expert John Novosel plans to incorporate SmartSwing's technology into his training devices.
Novosel holds patents on four golf training devices, including the highly acclaimed swing aid XLR8R® (pronounced "Accelerator"), which is endorsed by many top coaches and used by numerous PGA and LPGA golfers.
"John has been tremendously successful at helping players of all levels through his methods and training aids," said SmartSwing CEO and Founder Dick Eyestone. "We're flattered that he has recognized the value that our technology could have in his work."
SmartSwing's technology, which is typically inserted into the shaft of a golf club, provides meticulous feedback on a golfer's swing when the data is downloaded to a program on the PC.
"SmartSwing's technology is head and shoulders above anything else like it in the golf industry," said Novosel. "It should be especially effective when it comes to teaching critical tempo aspects of the game."
SmartSwing's intelligent golf clubs can be purchased directly from the company by visiting the web site at (www.smartswinggolf.com), or calling 888-794-6418. The clubs are also available at select retailers. To find a retailer near you, visit www.smartswinggolf.com/site/retailers.

About SmartSwing
SmartSwing is an Austin (TX)-based technology company that has developed a revolutionary golf learning system. Its new line of intelligent golf clubs contain patent pending technology, which for the first time allows a golfer to visualize and analyze their swing. During normal play or practice, SmartSwing clubs record all relevant swing data for future analysis. Using SmartSwing software in conjunction with our LS100 or LS300 series clubs, golfers have the unique capability to view their swing in a relative sense by superimposing it upon a known good or 'reference' swing. Sophisticated analytics allow for a detailed diagnosis of swing problems and learning progression from swinging on plane, to distance, to consistency. The result — accelerated learning and greater enjoyment of the game.
