SmartSwing Partners with Interactive Frontiers; More Sophisticated Golf Technology Products on the Horizon

Austin, Texas, February 9, 2005

SmartSwing, Inc., an Austin-based golf technology company, announced today that it has partnered with Interactive Frontiers, the maker of V1 golf swing analysis system, one of the most popular video-based teaching tools in the golf industry.

Together, the companies will create bundled product offerings that appeal to both golfers and teaching professionals, according to SmartSwing's Chief Executive Officer Dick Eyestone.

SmartSwing's technology, which is integrated into its own line of intelligent golf clubs and can be integrated in almost any other golf club, provides golfers with immediate and elaborate feedback on the quality of their golf swing and other mechanics.

Interactive Frontiers (www.v1golf.com) offers the V1 software product line, which allows golfers to view, analyze, and diagnose the faults in their swing on the PC. Initially, the SmartSwing (www.smartswinggolf.com) product line will be integrated into the V1 Professional Edition, which is primarily used by teaching professionals.

While SmartSwing's products are new to the industry, SmartSwing was attractive for other reasons, according to Chris Hart, CEO of Interactive Frontiers.
